Legal Disclaimers

Governor John Kasich signed into law House Bill 523, which legalized medical marijuana in Ohio, effective September 8, 2016. However, under the federal Controlled Substances Act, Congress has classified marijuana as a “Schedule I drug,” meaning that according to them, it has the potential for abuse, has no currently accepted medical use in treatment in the U.S., and has a lack of accepted safety for use of the drug under medical supervision.

Although medical marijuana has been legalized in the State of Ohio, possessing, using, distributing and/or selling marijuana are all federal crimes in the United States of America.
